Installation blocked: restriction blocking the use of add-ins

If you get this warning message when installing XLSTAT:

As explained in the text, it is because of a specific rule blocking the use of Excel Add-ins.

You must switch the key noextensibilitycustomizationfromdocument to 0 to allow the use of Excel add-ins, like XLSTAT.

If you manage to click on OK and continue the installation, so you will probably not be able to see the XLSTAT tab in Microsoft Excel.
